ALGERBRA
Algerbra is about finding the unknown and keeping it all balanced.
KEYWORDS:
Variable-a letter or symbol representing a quantity. e.g. n,a,x = variables
Equation-An algerbraic equation has only one answer. n+7=23 n=17
Expression-Algerbriac Expressions can have more than 1 answer. x-3 shows that a number is subtracted by 3.
Subsitution Algerbra-When using subsitution algerbra, replace the value with a variable. 3n+3=18 3(5)+3=18 n=5 (5x3+3=18)

LIKE MY ART!!
If you put it into a table it would turn out like this........

xfigure#-Numerical Order
-Starts at 1
yCircles- Goes up by 5
- Starts at 1
-To write it out with an Algerbraic Expression it would look like this:
n=figure# 5n-4
5n-4 5(4)-4=16
20-4=16
Now calculate for the 15th figure...
Remember n is the unknown figure..
n=figure# 5n-4
5n-4 5(15)-4=72
75-4=71
Another way to show your work is a T-chart....
