is the chance that something is likely to happen or be the case.

How to find the probability:

-to find the probability you have to find the out how many pieces are their like how many black pieces.

-then you find out the rest of the pieces and add them up to get the denominator.

-the numerator is how many black pieces their are.

-And just convert the fraction to get your percent if you want it.

Example: What is the probabilty of the arrow landing on a black number?

4/8 which 50%. Because their are only 4 black and 4 white and thats how i got my denominator by adding them up.

Total Possible Outcome

Is how many pieces there are and chances or the all the results it got have.

Example

If there is a 6 sided dice what is the possible outcomes?

-It is 1,2,3,4,5,6

-Because there are only 6 numbers and sides.

Event

Is any possible outcome

Example:

Their are two lonnies in a cup and 1 nickle.What possible outcomes?

-Lonnie,lonnie,nickle.
