GEOMETRY

I will teach you many things about Geometry BUT if u don't Understand it i'm gonna say
i will come and get u

what is the meaning of geometry

there are two meaning of geometry and they are:

1.a part of mathematics concerned with questions of size, shape, and relative position of figures and with properties of space.

2.all about sphape shape shapes

AREA OF THE SHAPES

AREA OF RECTANGLE

formula

L-length or base of the rectangle

W-width or height of a rectangle

L x W= A

AREA OF A TRIANGLE

formula

triangle is a half of rectangles

B x H

   2

AREA OF CIRCLES

D-diameter

R- radius

Ï€ -3.14

Ï€ x r x r

AREA OF SQUARE

same as the rectangle

L- Lenght or base

W-width or height

L x W= A

 perimeter

 To find the perimeter of a rectangle, triangle and square you add the measurments of all the sides.

RIGHT TRIANGLE

A- Altitude----------------make the

B-base of a triangle-----right angle

c hypotenuse- longest side

Finding C

 the hypotenuse is missing

c2=a2=b2 or a2 + b2 = C2

Finding B

the base is missing.

c2= a2+ b2 or b2= c2 - a2

Finding A

 the altitude is missing.

c2= a2+ b2 or a2= c2+ b2

 CUBE

formula area of the base x height

LxWxH

RETANGULAR PRISM

formula of the base x height

(LxW) xH

TRIANGULAR PRISM

area of the base xheight

(bxh) H

   2

CYLANDER

area of the base  x height

(Ï€r2)
