Probability is the measure unit of the chances of the event of the probability is shown using a fraction or a percent.
- E.X What is the chances of a thundershower in Winnipeg on a wednesday?
2/5=20%
Possible Outcome - the possible result (PO for short)
__Total Possible Outcome__- E.X a eight sided dice the total possible outcome is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,and 8.
How do you find a probability
If you got a rectangle that was 8 sides to it..
1st step is Find the pieces (certain Colour)
2nd step Add all pieces to get the Denominator
3rd step the leftovers are the Numerator
Eg: There are 4 blue and 3 red block in the bag. What is the probability that you will pull out a red block?
first - 3/4 = 0.75
second - 0.75 x 100 = 75%
The probability that you will pull out a red block is 75%
Possible outcomes (favorable outcomes) / total possible outcomes (what you want)
Heres some vocubulary for math terms/
Outcome is the possible result of an experiment
Total Possible Outcome (TPO) are all the possible outcomes of an experiment.
Event is any possible outcome of an experiment of probability.
Independent event is the outcome where the results don't effect eachother
Percent is a fraction or ratio that the denominator is 100

Probability
- They are part of a whole
- They have a numerator
- numerator is .. the top number of a fraction [ the part ]
- They have a denominator
- denominator is the bottom [ the whole
- They can be changed into different kinds of fractions

- Mixed fractions can become improper
- Improper fractions can become mixed fractions

There are ::
Equivalent fractions - Two or more different fractions that equal the amount
Equivalent fractions can also be reduced, and added, subtracted, or multiplied with eachother.
- Improper fractions - When the numerator is greater than the denominator
A improper fraction can be converted into a mixed fraction.
- Mixed fractions - A whole number with a proper or improper fraction
A mixed fraction could be converted into an improper fraction. It can also be added, subtracted, or multiplied.
- Proper fractions - When the numerator is less than the denominator.
A proper fraction can be reduced. It could also be added, subtracted, or multiplied.

Lowest Common Denominator - Having two or more fractions, and finding equivalents to add or subtract.
Take the equivalent that you found and you take the original numerator and put them together, to make a fraction.
Common Denominator - Having two or more fractions, and finding the lowest equivalent.
You then take the equivalent you found and take the original numerator and put them together, to make fraction.
Now, its easier to add or subtract
