Second step : After multiplying you then divide by the total

Which equals .. 77.7%
> How to convert a decimal to a percent:
For example: .25
First step : You multiply .25 by 100
- .25 x 100 = 25%

First step : add the two parts. (7 + 10 = 17) choose either part A or B to be the numerator
- 7/17
Second step : After turning it into a fraction you then multiply and divide.

For example: 40% of 70 .
first step: divide 70 by 100 (70 ÷ 100 = 0.7)
