Hi this is mel and jey and this is our unproject. for this unproject we are going to work on algebra and probability. For probability we are going to show you how to work with a word problem and with algebra we are going show how to find a2,b2 and c2 o ya and the 2's mean squared so for example 5(squared) is the same thing as 5 times 5 which equals 25 and so on ok you got it ok and Oh ya i almost for got we might help another group with some stuff i hope thats not a problem ok well ya and thats our info seeya later.

Probability

To find the probability to something just follow these steps:

Step1 - First you take the posslibe outcome and then divide it by the total possible outcome

Step2 - Then you get a decimal and then times that by 100

Step3 - Finally you get the probability!!!

Eg: There are 4 blue and 3 red block in the bag. What is the probability that you will pull out a red block?

first - 3/7 = 0.42

second - 0.42 x 100 = 42%

The probability that you will pull out a red block is 42%.

Algebra

Algebra is so called finding the unkown letter or number.

like for example if 6+K=10 ..... then what is K well if you do this : 10-6 it equals 4 so... 4 = K.

Oh ya by the way the letter or missing number is also called the variable.

Sometimes when dealing with shapes like for eg. a triangle there will be sides labeled as a - b and c like in this picture--
