Mean is the sum of the numbers in a set of data divided by the number of pieces of data (average).

Add all the numbers to get the sum (9+12+15+20+22+30= 108), and then divide the sum into the total amount od data, which is 6, to get the mean (108/6= 18).

Median is the middle numbder of the set of data that is arranged in numerical order.

--> When there are two middle numbers, the median is thier mean.

Look at this. The Lever is getting smaller when it reaches the middle. This picture is showing where the middle is.

If you have 2 medians, multiply them together (5x5= 25), then divide the answer into 2 to get the median because there are only two numbers, which is 5 and 5

(25/2= 12.5).

Mode is the most common number in a set of data.

You can have more than 1 mode.

You can have no modes.

Easy way to find the mode: Write the set of data in numerical order to find the mode easily.

Range is the difference between the largest and smallest numbers in a set od data.

Range shows how many whole numbers are in between the largest and smallest numbers.

Easy way to find the smallest and largest numbers (range) in a set of data: Write the set of data in numerical order to find the smallest and largest (range) numbers easily.

This is the "My Life Graph" that we did before.

Bar Graph

The x axis is where the Time (Hour/Minutes) is.

The Y axis is where the activities are.

Line Graph

Yippee!!!!! We're through!

The x axis is where Weight in kg is.

The Y axis is where the Months are.
